Hello Everyone, I’m your Treasurer! I take care and am responsible of all finances, internal and external, which include Save Our Soles SWAG, event planning, membership fees, etc.! So if you have any questions or concerns about the finances or fees you can contact me directly through my e-mail, ahuter@luc.edu, or if you would prefer to meet-up and discuss finances, I am more than happy to do so! In addition to being your Save Our Soles treasurer I participate in other school activities such as volleyball and Kappa Kappa Gamma! I am currently a standing sophomore majoring in Environmental Science on the Pre-Med track with the hopes of becoming a physician specializing in infectious diseases! Being passionate about people and their health is also one of the primary reasons why i decided to join and participate in such an amazing organization! I wanted to help those who are less fortunate and gain new experiences by doing so! I hope you have the same mindset and goals as I do in participating in this organization! Again, do not hesitate to ask any questions about the finances or in general questions pertaining to the organization. I can’t wait to meet and talk to all of you!

Hello, my name is Gabrielle and I am responsible for overseeing the design committee. In doing this I head the committee in creating promotions while working closely with the event committee, communicating with all other parties involved, and more. I also run the website and social media. I am currently a sophomore in Quinlan School of Business here at Loyola. I am very excited to be apart of Save Our Soles. I think this is a great way to make a difference in our home away from home here in Chicago. A fun fact about me is that at the age of 20 I have already moved nine times in my life including oversees twice. I am so grateful for every experience I have the opportunity to be apart of and I cannot wait to see the impact of SOS!

For any questions contact me at glong4@luc.edu.

Hi guys! I’m Jessi, the secretary of Save Our Soles where I assist in writing emails and keep track of the organizations records. I’m a freshman biology major on the premed track in hopes of becoming a doctor in radiation oncology or the emergency department! I’m passionate about SOS because I think it’s a great way to give back to those in need and such a small thing like socks can go a long way in making someone’s day better. A fun fact about myself is that I LOVE traveling and I’ll be studying abroad fall of 2019 at Loyola’s Rome campus! If you have any questions my email is jcuthbert1@luc.edu & I can’t wait to see where our organization goes!

Public Relations Chair Lucas Coker

I am the public relations chair, and am responsible for outreach to donors and donation sites.  I am a freshman, my majors are Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience and Jazz Studies: Guitar on a pre-med track.  My dream job is to be a famous guitarist and a neurologist.  As a practicing Catholic, service to me is a way to show my gratitude for all of the blessings in my life, and a way to share this joy with others.  We are so lucky to be attending Loyola, and it is important to recognize what we have and to share our time and talents with those who may be less fortunate.  An interesting fact about me is I love volleyball :).

Everts Chair
Krista Rooney
IMG_8870.JPG

Hi there! I’m Krista and I am the Event Committee Head and I help in the planning and execution of events! I am currently a Junior majoring in Biology with plans of attending medical school in the near future! Having grown up in a rural middle class community, homelessness had been a foreign subject to me prior to moving to Chicago. However, after volunteering at various underserved community centers and a local homeless shelter throughout my first 3 years at Loyola, my compassion for those suffering from homelessness grew in more ways than I had ever expected. I strive to help our members further their own development of compassion through serving with Save Our Soles! A fun fact about me is I’ve always dreamed of one day inventing something and owning a small business!
